    Thanks Rob,

I assume these would be suitable for riveting two sections of aluminium together as well? Ie where a spot weld needs to be drilled out and reriveted?

    Pop Rivets

Add to below post, that the rivets chosen should be the sealed type to prevent ingress of moisture etc. The reason I say this is 'Blind Rivet' is sometimes a generic term for pop rivet and if you get normal pop rivets from the hardware shops, they are normally 'open', ie do not have the end sealed.
Sealed rivets appear a bit longer than normal, but the grip length is written on the packaging.
Sealed rivets are not that common in hardware shops, especially in LR size, so a visit to a specialty fasteners supplier may be required.
Last time I got some, purchased a box of 1000 for all those little projects around the Landy.

    Cheers,

X2 - You can never have enough rivets. Especially if you own two Defenders.
