monduran dam
i went chasing barra again last weekend throwing the swag in the boat and some essentials i took off hitting the water early in the afternoon where i did some exploring while working the trees and bays looking for a good spot to spend the night while casting at the elusive barra the weather was less than perfect with a eastery breeze of 20 knots but i soldered on finding a good looking bay i tied up and bombarded the area for hours before going to sleep i awoke in the morning to a glorious morning with no breeze i worked a few more areas to no avail then i bumbed into a freind where we teamed up as he had caught 3 barra that night we worked several areas then decided to hit a good bank back near the main basin of the lake ;D it was suppost to fire on dusk or just before but naturally it didnt but i t did eventually fire at around 7.30 with me landing 2 fish of a meter and 95 cm then jason landed 3 all simmiler in size and i lost another so we called it quits with sunday morning was as good as sat morning but still couldnt find any ative fish so i came back home happy that i have now landed a monuran barra ;D
