    Wet Ormeau Run this morning

Grimace, Def90(Sam) and I, along with BigDog (Rod) as chief Photographer headed into Ormeau very early this morning for a quick test of tyres.

Grimace and Sam were running 37" creepies and I was on my 35" Krawlers.

It was bloody slippy with a lot of water running down the tracks.

Griamces RR is sickeningly capable bearing in mind its still unlocked. He drove everything where-as Sam and I needed one quck winch. I broke a rear axle (the long one) and we swapped it - Thanks Grimace!

Other damage was mainly limited to Grimace with a couple of new dents. Sam got a scratch and that was it.

Very happy with the performace of the Krawlers, especially after we dropped them down to about 12/14psi.

Heres afew pic. Rod should have some good video.

Here's a suprise for anyone who knows Grimace!

I think that creek bed has claimed a rover axel everytime its being driven

Grimace have you invested in a good magnet yet ? as i have 2 big ones at work which could be made into the axel size

nice one pete, looks like a good play was had.
ahh, grimace, you put chocks under the wheels, not on the back corner, and also use small chocks that you can pick up!!

    Hey Pete,
Greg/Darren & I went out for a play also around lunchtime.
No rain and most tracks were reasonably dry, apart from some puddles.
Greg gave the new 37's a try and all good at 6 psi.
The Gumboot with twin lockers work very very well.
Very happy with what the car can do now.
    Cheers Dave

    Good stuff Pete,

Has Sam got the injection sorted on the Rover V8?

He was still running a holley last time I saw him.

After seeing the damage these Big Tyres do to Drive Trains and panels.

I think I'll just stay with my skinny 32's and collect firewood , drink beer,
sit back and watch the rest of you crash bash and spend a fortune.

Guess I'm just getting to old to grit teeth crunch panel's and hope for the best.

    Maintain the rage you idiots!...
