I know from my field test that there are a couple of people on here who run valvoline super diesel in their Tdis.
I personally wouldn't run the agrilube in the drivetrain. It might be OK in the engine in summer.
My last job before retirement was running a plant production nursery and using two Kobota diesel tractors.
I have some oil left over and I would like comment on if this is suitable for 1998 110 TDI. The oil is Valvoline Super Diesel 15W40 and the second lot is Agrilube Lubri Maxx 20w40. This second type is an all purpose oil suitable for motor, transmission and diff applications. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jim

Agreew with isuzurover: the 15-40 should be ok, but a 20w is probably too viscous for the Tdi.
I have tried a 20w before and my Tdi did not like it, lots more noisy rattles on startup.
