G'day All,
Most times I write a long, witty and to myself...generally entertaining trip report......but as it is so ****ing hot today and am sitting sweating ( picture that folks)...will keep it relatively short.
Most of us met up at Macca's....and headed off to Scenic Rim. Bolts who was unfashionably latecaught up with us at the park. The Gen Y hoonies ( I say that as they are anything but
) had camped overnight as did Grover/ Jaffa and better halves. So we all got together and with Bolts in the lead...went through the DARE theory (Louis has pretty much covered that).
All in all...was a great day....good to get to know some of the newer members better and a big hats off to Rod....who inadvertantly got led up a pretty shocking track. Part of which I had to get a snatch ( thanks again Kelvin). Half way up, Rod went sideways with a bang going through a nasty rut and knocked a tyre off the bead and copped some panel damage
. So Rod got to experience the joy of getting a bloody tyre out from underneath of a very rocky track. Also was a credit the team work to get him back on track and well supervised by myself.....I have had a double hernia op as you know
. Even in Smokey I had a little bit of poo almost come out.....was a tough one.
Aside from that....all in all a great day and thanks to my fellow trainers and to the members for DARE and non DARE for making the day a success. Here's some pics from the day and Steve.....hope Smokey is dirty enough for you....wanted to get a side by side before you went...next time.

NON DARE member off to play
THE HUMMER......great to see it in action....thanks for bringing it along John. It was no BLING BLING machine...the real deal.

Afternoon Drive and Creek Run
Louis realising time to get a Disco
Dan realising he doesnt drive a rock crawler and painstakingly reversing back out with good guidance......oh and an audience
Smokey tackling the elements
Wish I had got photo's of the last track we did....but alas being a bit of a fatty....by the time I walked up to where Rod was......camera was in the car.....pity True or Ash weren't there to go back and get it for me. Look forward to seeing you all out there on the tracks soon,
Regards
Stevo
P.S. If you want a piic I have taken...please let me know and can email you a copy

Hi all
was another great day
go hard or go home I say or maybe that might change after the panel shop quotei will put some photos up later but unfortunatly I was a little busy winching up to the flat to change the right front wheel and forgot to take some photos of the incident
thanks for the team help in thick of it.
It was good to see you take the D3 through a difficult track. It went well and I was impressed with both the vehicle and your driving abilities, apart from the tyre coming of the rim it was a great recovery and handled very well.
Thanks to Busman, Discothrasher, stevo and yourself was a great little run at the end of the day, was enjoyed and we all drove home.
Hi All, Another great day albeit a bit warm. I'd like to thank Josh and the committee for allowing me to bring my toyI had a good time even if the creek run got a bit tight towards the end

If any one has some photo's of me at play I would love to see them as I hardly ever get to take photo's of it in action.
Heres a few photo's I did snap on the day.
