We have Scallops "Matilda" here for a visit to get her ready for a roadworthy and registration..
Matilda has no Bonnet prop rod (we are using a bit of wood..most unlady like) so can we have photos and measurements so we can make one
thanks

I've got a spare one I'd be willing to part with.(part no 303956) I don't have the bracket that bolts to the radiator panel . S1 86 /107 on passenger side ,88/109 drivers side.Same rod different bracket. If you're interested PM me.
the bracket is on the raditor and the bonnet...scallops just needs the rod...he is down the shed working he will PM you when he gets home

Slight mistake! On the 86/107 the bracket is bolted to the mudguard,on the88/109 to the radiator panel.
On my 1956 107, Passengers side mounted. Top rod is 369mm, bottom rod is 401mm
If you need more detail I could probably remove it and take some proper photos.

Tote
The bracket to take the bonnet prop mount looks original to me and is not at the side as per the Series 2's and 3's that lie all around me!- I think we'll just make one using the measurements provided - thanks everyone for your help.
As mentioned - mine is a 86 chassis (1955) with 1957 engine, axles and panels. It's all a bit confusing.
Got heaps done today - I'll post a thread later with all the details - if Kat lets me "waste"more time today doing LR stuff!
