    Question can you put 255 70 r16 on standard discovery rims

    just wondering how big you can go on a disco 2000 v8 standard alloy factory rim they come with 235 70 would 255 70 rub on steering joints

    Yeah you should be fine. Do a search, there is plenty of info on tyre choices for D2s. You can run upto 265/75/r16, but this would require a 2 inch lift and a after market front bar (otherwise it might rub on the front guard). 245/75/r16 fit fine without any mods.

    With larger tyres you might get some rubbing but only at hard lock and under full articulation.
