    Prop Shaft Dust Boots

The front driveshaft is custom made and is a bit larger and heavier than the standard landie version. To keep the dirt out of the splines is has an oil seal and it has been damaged playing in the sand dunes. I will replace this oil seal but I would also like to put on a prop shaft boot like other landie driveshafts.

Because the shaft is larger in diameter than normal a landie boot will not fit. I have googled drive shaft boots but always come up with CV boots.

Does anyone know of a supplier of prop shaft boots - I need one with a diameter of 2 1/2" at one end and 2" at the other.

    Thanks

    Garry,
I have larger shafts (Army ones -Repco) on my County and the ordinary rubber boots will stretch enough to go on. Its a bit tight but they will fit - pretty sure they are around the same measurement as you stated - 2 1/2 and 2.......Brian

Thanks - tried that but they are just a tad too small.

    Cheers

Yes I lubed it up - my drive shaft is much larger in diameter than the original and does not have any landie bits in it at all.
