yes it is a civey one.

i am looking at a fire wall on the net that claims to be a series 2a but it has a different wiper motor on it and different steering wheel too. ( the wiper is a cable operated type and the steering wheel looks later than series 2a) i dont know what to make of it. thanks

Series 2/2a firewalls are easy to identify - they have the open steel glove boxes and centre instrument panel. Series 3 does not.

There are differences within Series 2/2a, the biggest difference being 1967, when the wipers changed from separate motors to cable operation - this change required the cover on the LH glovebox for the wiper motor, the hole in the shelf above it for the cable, and the deletion of the wiper motor holes in the windscreen and add them to the top of the bulkhead. There are various other changes over the years as well, including changes to the panels below the instrument panel, but with all of these changes it is quite feasible to either modify the bulkhead to be the same as the one you are replacing, or modify the other bits to fit in with the new bulkhead.

thank you for such a quick response. it seems that this one on the net is not the same as mine then as my car is a 65 model and i dont really want to change something that is hard to find and usefull to others who may need it. you say you have some firewalls? would you be interested in selling any?

If you landy is a '65 then it will look something more along the lines of this, a '71.
