I knocked this up today using all the broken bits of cells I had lying around. I used outdoor grade Laminating pockets from office works to secure them to the backing with a heat gun. I tested it at 630 pm on a very overcast Melbourne day and it was putting out a touch over 17 volts. I plugged into the array and it quite happily kept up a solid charging rate. Why am I showing you this? 2 reasons. 1. I'm happy it works and 2. Building solar panels is so bloody easy.
Yeah I'd like to see it. I want to get solar for my house and an 80w system for camping, so I doubt I'd build em, but it'd give me a better understanding.
