Increasing Wading Depth

What are the steps to progressively increase the wading depth of a D3, TDSE?
I have a Safari snorkel which is waterproof (I hope). That should eliminate water into the air intake as an issue.
There have been reports on this forum that the Transmission Control Module (TCM), mounted under the main battery can certainly get wet and cause problems, so is sealing that unit and its connections the next step?
What about raising diff breathers ? (or are they sealed),
or use a blind for anything over 700mm?

The battery module can be sealed but it depend on how deep you intend to go. I gave mine a good coating of CRC Platicote, along with any other connectors I could find.
Diff breathers are high look next to the radiator at the top. The other one is behind the resr brake cluster I think.
Never heard of any issues with the diffs gettting water in them.

there are always shorten rods etc for a bit more depth

Something else to think of is, were is the air inlet to the compressor, is this high enough?

What about other modules/electrics - doors, pillars etc? Might pay to do a good bit of research here before swimming that car.

It's inside the vehicle LPS behind the panel.
