Garmin Topo on Ebay for $10.00

Has anybody bought one of these from Bulgaria??
For $10.00 I'll give it a try, but would like to get feedback first. (I know there is a new version due soon).

I think it would be less reliable than downloading a pirated copy from a dodgy Russian torrent site which would most likely infect the PC with some malicious virus. At least it wouldn't cost you $10 to do so.

It will be a pirated copy of the image file which you would load onto a sd card
I would be very careful about giving out my credit card to them as i imagine you would end up getting charged more than $10.00

There seems to be plenty on Ebay at present that are reasonable I know I paid a lot more than they are asking now. Still it is a great map set.

Hi Dee Jay,
tyr this link Shonkymaps by Shonkylogic and read all of the info on this site before you buy the Topo map on Ebay for a Garmin.

I have been running this "Shonky" Topo map on my Garmin Nuvi 265 for a couple of months with no problems. (loaded onto an Micro SD card no prob's).

It is very accurate and has lots of extra info the the "Official Garmin Topo" does not have. I also run it on Garmin "Base Camp" & "Mapsource" software with no problems.

As I said though, read all the info from this site and make up your own mind, but for me it's working fine!
