I've never owned nor used a G.P.S of any type before, just relied on maps and direction sense. Seems I can operate the street navigation section... well enough to get where I'm going although the maps are way out of date.
The 4WD Gps section is where I'm struggling, I've managed to add a waypoint by touching the screen but that doesn't seem that accurate. As a real world example if I was driving down the Birdsville track looking for the junction to the Walkers Crossing track (which I overshot hopelessly on the last trip as the Innamincka sign was missing) is it possible to enter the GPS coordinates printed on the map(26 deg 52' 15" s and 139 deg 32' 08"e) or do I just touch the screen? Oh and thanks to anyone patient enough to read this long winded post.
