Funny to watch the 'news' channels do giant about faces as she gets further and further. What happened to the irresponsibility of letting a 16 yr old sail off by herself story?
Whether she makes it or not I think a great experience and adventure for her.
No "roaring Forties" yet. To qualify for a round the world atempt she has to go as many degrees north of the equator as she started south of it. So for the next few weeks Jessica will have to go up into the Atlantic and then turnarond and head back south again.
All that said, WELL DONE GIRL, sailing anywhere alone is a great achievement, let alone around the world.
God luck and best wishes
