Land based game in Vic

Anyone do any land based game in Vic. Got a mate who has just started paddling lines out on the 90 mile beach looking for shark, but not doing very well. Hopefully we will go to Green Cape in NSW in a month or so and try there again floating baits out, fished there twice before but no luck. Is there any good areas on the west coast of Vic for LBG fishing

species and line class, australian salmon off a headland on 1kg line will give a good account of them selfs if the fish are 3kg's or there abouts.
