    New Steering wheel in Puma

    Anyone fitted a new steering wheel to there new defender, if so please could you send some pic

    the original one in my opinion is to big and very well um plasticy

    Maddog howz the fishing....... Get on Defender2 - Index and do search heaps of guys on there with after market steering wheels.

    Yep, you're right there MADDOG. I put a smaller one on my old '96 130. It worked like a dream. Trouble with the Puma is the air bag.......Unless we discard that item, then I really dont know how to help. Unless we use a Disco wheel?

    The current Defnders do have an airbag but it is a state of the art design which is triggered wirelessly.

    If you do fit an aftermarket steering wheel, simply sit the airbag on top of the dash & it will work just the same. If you fit it in the centre of the dash, both the driver & passenger will be covered equally well.

    Lets hope the wireless Airbag is not activated by the cetral locking and immobiliser system..you may find your self out bush with NO AIRBAG
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    What The????? I want what your smoking It's the whole reason they are not sold in the USA, because they do not meet their safety standards.
