And I thought Google Earth was detailed.....

Are you like me and surf around on Google Earth, either to plan a trip or just dream?

Well I have just been introduced to Bing Maps.

Find maps, driving directions and business listings - Bing Maps Australia

    Select "Bird's Eye".

    Just thought I'd share that.

For those in SA there's the official gov't mapping site, quite good I think:

    Welcome to NatureMaps

I believe other states have similar sites, could be worth looking for.

Click on aerial view to get the real view, but it still isn't very clear.
I think google earth still has it over this one IMO (at least for Perth).
