    Fuel filter bolt size

Just a quick question. While doing some routine maintenance on my 2005 TD5 Defender, I thought I would drain any water from the fuel filter behind the R rear wheel. Well with a 1/4 turn of the bottom drain bolt, it came off in my hand, along with draining out diesel fuel from my system. After calling LR in South Melbourne, and having all their parts people divert me to voice mail. Luckily, I called FWD Motors in Altona North. Pat said he had a replacement in stock. Off in my wife's car, and $35 dollars later, had one in my hot little hands. Had to re-prime the fuel line, and needed the handbook for doing this. All is well now. Just seems stupid that a plastic bolt on a high pressure line can be a show stopping experience.

Anyone know the thread size of the bolt that goes in the bottom? Will get one and put it in the tool box for a spare. Maybe should just replace the plastic on that is in the new filter anyway.

    Cheers,
    Ken
