So it was you who bought that tourist bus that was on Carsales some time back. Did it come with the bits to change it back to a normal 101 and how is it?
Garry
No, I don't have 101 projects, I have two.
Here is one you may not know I have.

The other is here
Australian Land Rover Owners
They're stalled at the moment but you can help.
101 rear body
101 Hoodsticks
101 rear bumperettes
I would like to drive one of them to Corowa next year so I'll pull my finger out over winter.
I don't think the first one (101-1) needs much to get roadworthy. The other one needs more work (101-2). I have just sourced some new brake and clutch fluid reservoirs for them. Next will be new tyres. I'm looking for those funny little flaps for the spare wheel also. Two of them.
Well. What do you think?
PS Pete. Can you change the title of my album to "My 101 Rapier Tractor" please?

I have been looking for 1 that i could afford and you have 2 not happy jan![]()
Yes. Cats out of the bag now.
Yes it came with bits. I have the original tray and hoodsticks. It looks genuine low km (about 76000) and appears to be in very good condition apart from surface rust on the chassis, rusty door frames etc. I think this is the one I'll be restoring to "in service".
It was an adventure collecting it.
But I'm still after bits for 101-2
Geoff,
I have a problem. This forum helps me deal with it.
I'd quite like to have a series one and I've got my eye on one.
You too can have a problem like mine. You can afford one. Don't look at the price tag. If the want is strong enough, get a loan and buy it.
I know where there are a couple more 101's I'd like to have. You should buy at least one of them so I can't then my family, friends and neighbours would be grateful to you. We can discuss this further at Corowa.
So you're coming to Corowa then, Mick?![]()

Yes. I've got this disease real bad now. I've got to get my fix.
If I don't see other ex-mil vehicles, I'l probably buy another.
Corowa, Is it like an AA meeting?

No I don't think they have Anti-Aircraft weapons. Something to do with there being an airport.
However a few ex-Air Defence Battery 101's have been known to come!
In relation to a 12 step program, you just need to remember the first few steps.
1. I came to understand that my green stuff had become unmanageable.
2. Even with unmanageable green stuff, space can always be found for 1 more!
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
So come on, cough up the other chassis number![]()
