intresting to see yet another ex-SADF that has been "white washed" so far i haven't found any ref to this "habit" any ideas yourself ?

 Quite possibly these "white-washed" vehicles were used under the United Nations flag for peacekeeping forces in somewhere like Namibia. Australian Military Land Rovers and Unimogs used there in UNTAG (United Nations Transition Assistance Group - established 1989) were certainly painted white. See: UN Transition Assistance Group

The ex-British Army Series 1s, 2As and Lightweights used by United Nations forces in Cyprus (particularly UNCIVPOL - United Nations Civilian Police) were all painted white pretty badly like this.
