Hi All
Mick, I have the room mate or dandlandyman does too just need someone to take them on the ghan as their own vehicles
Regards Mark
I was thinking somewhere a little closer to home.
Gav's classic will be finished soon. I wonder if I can sneak it in there?
Hey Kyle! You need a new coffee stand in your driveway.
Hi Mark, I rescued both those vehicles and what a mix of bits. 2B chassis with 2A body and too much more to mention. The 2B chassis one with 2A body has now had the camper body cut off and vehicle cleaned up. And found the outline and faint wording of SNOWY MOUNTAINS HYDRO AND ELECTRICITY AUTHORITY. I find this incredible, it is a round logo type about 250 mm. diam and faint lettering. It has dust and mud plates on brake backing plates like S1 early in the construction.
If you know of anyone being able to put some light on it I would be ever grateful.
David
How many million Lanrovers have you got now?
Have the divorce papers been filed yet?
Well done. I reckon that was a good purchase. There's something special about the forward controls.
Hi Mick
Not divorced yet. Could not let them get crushed, the vehicles had to go very quickly or they would be crushed. They are mixed up 2A & 2B so it will take a bit of sorting. One chassis is a regular 109 and will be used for donor parts on my military vehicles. The cab is a 2B with a 2A drivers floor plate to accommodate the gear change. ( 247 chassis)
Today we cut off camper body (2A ) and gave the old girl a wash and a sign on both doors although very faint has Snowy Mountains Hydro Authority on them.
Will let you know what I find.
The shed full of bits I am promised has not yet been picked up, will also let you know what is there.
David
