As you know pictures of slopes , esp up and down are hard to take, as no reference to verticle. Big Boys park about 10 yrs ago going down this fairly steep track.I dropped the left front wheel into a hole. Lot of weight on the front of a F.C. going down hill, esp with softer coils. So it decided to take a nap for a while. Two winches , one to stop it sliding down, other stood it up, waited a bit to let the oil settle. Fired up the Isuzu. No damage to vehicle or occupants.

I saw one of these only this weekend up at Corrin forrest (ACT) didn't look like it was being used. Hard to believe that they are landies really. I saw another in Canberra only a few days earlier, looked like a camper conversion. awesome.

Found a box of photos I lost. This is how the Galley is st up. Inside a double bed crosswise behind the cab, cupboard for storage, and a big fridg- freezer running off the aircon compressor with quick connect couplings when I want to remove it.

Not many pics of the truck here. I had just bought a video camera and all the Cape trip is on tape. Pity I cant post it as going over Gunshot was interesting.
Camping near Punsand bay and with a tour truck at the Archer River.

I cant remember what the big rig was. Someone might know.

Wow, I'd hate to be behind him on a windy road. Hope he has a bigger engine than the 2.6.

Used to see them running up Calder on their way to the "Red Centre" etc on a regular basis back in the 70's & 80's.
A guy from Red Cliffs ended up buying one of them second hand and doing tours with it for a few years.
