Lots of history there, The Power Wagon in that photo is the one and same that i'm restoring . I scored that commonwealth plate sequence as a Custom plate (why I don't want this on club rego) . Ive spoken to the buyer that drove it home to Bega from the Snowy Auction.
drove it out of the shed for the first time a few days ago so I could stand back and check alignment of tub vs cab .
not sure how the photos will copy across from facebook. If they don't work let me know and I'll upload them.

Ive been all over snowy photos and got a book on building the snowy, In photos LandRovers outnumber Toyotas about 50 to 1 . Toyotas only appeared very late on the scene & hardly et a mention in the book.
Rare photo of Toyotas on the scheme, Its late because everything is painted yellow for safety

Im struggling to see a Tickford, the vehicle at front of the line in the background is an Austin like this. Probably look like a Tickford if you scale it down. Its huge compared to the Power wagon,. which is in turn at 126" wb is a lot bigger than a 80" .

better photo of the OP image.
Text with photo reads " A hold-up on the road through Rennix Gap, below Mt Koscsiuszko - 1953"

The tickford is the vehicle on the far left of the pic - is not an Austin. The shortwheel base vehicle further along (near the center of the pic) looks like a basic LR with a hardtop but could also be a Tickford - is a bit hard to tell.
None of your pics are showing.
