    Auction at Burren Jubction

Did any one go to the auction at Burren Junction last weekend. I am trying to find out how much a couple of the landrovers sold for. The first was a late 50 -51 80" which had no doors , The other was a 109". I will post photo's if i can. Wayne

This is the photo of the 80" but the auction web site is closed now so cant get a photo of the 109. It was parked behind the 80 on the propety.

    Check here - http://www.aulro.com/afvb/marketplac...ion-nsw-4.html post # 37

Always wise to do a search before starting a new thread - there had already been 4 or 5 threads on this sale which were all merged not long after the sale.

    1952 SWB $1300
    1957 SWB Hardtop $1100
1956 SWB Holden Motor $300( I know who bought this one but I wont say they/he is in remlr
    1957 LWB $1100
    1957 LWB $600
1957 LWB $350(I bought this one and will put series 2a running gear throughout)
I could not read the chassis number that clearly and well it did not really mater but I think the 80" was actually a may 1950

I thought it was earler than 52 from the photo's i received from the auction people. We put a phone bid in & they never rang back with the reaults of the auction & tryed calling them but didn't return the call . We were just wondering how far off the mark we were

I did not have a big look into it but i was bidding on it as well but mainly for parts, it had a pretty good instrument panel, rust free firewall but had been hit/pushed in near the gearbox tunnel(strange),a good fuel tank and the chassis seemed ok apart from the bit on the front.
I think the price it got was fair but definitely was not worth anymore as the engine did not run, had missing id plates, no doors, there were a few bits that were a bit rough.
