    Doing what?

Well, mainly spent this morning cleaning up after another S3ute junior inspired Australia Day celebration at Casa del S3 . A good time had by most, although at times Mrs S3ute carried on as if she was personally defending Rorkes Drift.............

Other than that, reflecting on an excellent SLOW inspired day out out at Allora - really a great day and I would have stayed longer other than the aforementioned assault on the homestead.

My late Dad and uncles on his side were all in the farm machinery business for years and the memories of all those times riding tractors or old (then new) trucks in grand parades at Maitland, Singleton, Dungog or Gloucester Shows or just closing up the yard on a Saturday noon when I got the pick of what I wanted a ride in on his knee came flooding back.

Congratulations to President Dan and the others who made it to Allora and also for taking the initiative to organise and coordinate yet another great SLOW-AULRO event. Genuinely appreciated.

On the way home I called by Forest Hill to check out Taz which was recently featured on the Series 3 site - a great restoration in the making there.

So, all in all a great Land Rover fix for me at least.

    Cheers,

Did the others get photographed as well.
Was this your first SLOw trip in your Matilda since the engine went back in?

Other vehicles making the trip are in the trip report section.
