    A few more photos

    Hello from Brisbane.

A few more photos of the Land Rovers at Allora - I have dozens of the tractors, but thought they might be of lesser interest.

    Cheers,

All going well - by this time next week I will be back driving one of these:

    Looking at one of these:

    Allora revisited

    Hello from Brisbane.

Although not listed as an official club trip, with Mrs S3ute's blessings still ringing in my ears (and some money knotted in a hankie for a beer and a burger), I snuck off back up to Allora on the Sunday of the recent Australia Day long weekend to get another small dose of machinery nostalgia - being the Sunday there were fewer machines and vehicles than likely would have been on display on the previous day.

    But, it didn't disappoint.

    Horses:

    Tractors:

    Cars:

    Trucks:

    Trucks with tractors:

But just the one Land Rover:

    And lots of small engines:

Excellent stuff - SLOW needs to be there again next year.

Incidentally, between Allora 2014 and the Coolatai tractor pull outing I really got back into small vintage motors. So much so that I went out and tracked down an aging Villiers Mk12 engine with pump for future restoration - the aim being to rig up a Heath Robinson like contraption to keep concurrently amused and cool at future events.

And the burger was pretty good too...............

    Cheers,

    Neil
