    Hardings Paddock Bush Walk

Well, even though I had to make my own cuppa this morning, we still had a lovely bushwalk out at Hardings Paddock in the Teviot range - these hills run down to Boonah.

    Kat and Matilda....

So the walk is quite difficult at first - especially after a Booze fuelled Saturday night....we caught our breath at the tree of squiggleness....eat your heart out Russell Coight.

After the tough climb, the walk runs along a long ridge line so is quite relaxing....views to Brisbane to the east.....

Kat up the top at Goolman's lookout. Flinders Peak is right behind us....

Great views West out to Main Range NP.....

Steep walk back down to the Paddock of Hardingness..

The vegetation really greens up at the base of the range.....

    Some botanical wonderment....

So another classic SLOW trip - the club where the members decide how to use their cars.

    R's about?

    Dan,

    Hello from Brisbane.

Something here seems to be back to front.

My understanding of a good day out in a British Jeep was to have a gentle amble over to the said jeep and then drive it up the long and exhausting hill.

This seemed to involve a gentle drive to the base of the long and exhausting hill and then walking up it?

Bit like keeping a dog and doing your own barking....

    Cheers,

    Neil

    Mick,

Yes, I suppose you are right.

I am still waiting for Bear Grylls to conduct walking tours of the botanic gardens. Sign up for that one...

    Cheers,

    Neil
