Samford Show last weekend was a geat weekend as usual but the number of Land Rovers & Rovers in this 70th year of Land Rover & Rover P3 attending was disappointing . Saturday was cool first up in the morning with a westley wind blowing after the rain earler in the week but soon wormed up. Here are a few photo's from the day.
Sunday was much the same as Saturday except the vehicles that were left at the show grounds over night were covered in ice. with pots of people to talk to about our vehicles . Here are a few more photo's from the weekend.
Thanks for the pics......we had planned to drop out but ended up with a drive through northern NSW
Can someone tell me what the cream coloured car in pic 17 of the first lot of pics is please. Looks a lot like the car from Grease
No, the car in the next pic, it could be a pale yellow maybe. Its a convertible with white wall tyres.
OK, Its around 1953 Vauxhall Velox EPI Vagabond Convertible
Another great trip report, well done and thanks.
''Gumdrop'' the 1927 Chevrolet made it to the show with no dramas I was rather surprised to be told by the red flag car following behind that I was cruising at 70 -75 kph
Quite an entertaining drive, car is for sale if anybody wants a good vintage car !!
