    Kilkivan Utes and Boots

We took Jumbuck out for a look yesterday arvo. Fair mob scattered out over the grounds. They had the Show and Shine yesterday but we could not justify the fee for the whole weekend. The website suggested the fee was 15 bucks a car per day with free camping but they wanted 20 bucks each. As we knew one of the gatekeepers we organised a compromise
No other Landies there, and not much happening as it was pretty hot. A couple of utes did wheelies in the free mudhole but it was pretty dry and had to be wet down by tanker but they were a bit reluctant to waste the water.
Most were in groups under tarps sucking on coldies and a lot had plastic wading pools set up for big and little kids. I guess the tanker filled them up for them.
We are not into that sort of thing but everyone seemed to be happy. I think most of the shindig would be on in the evening.

we went and had a lookeesee on saturday from outside the fence

looks like they had a few roll up

even got a few waves from the people on the other side of the fence so they looked a friendly bunch.

was amusing to see heaps of jap tucks all decked out similar in circles around campsites...
