Across the Border weekend - Glenreagh

We arrived Friday afternoon to some already happy campers. Friday night down at the Pub for dinner didn't disappoint. The Lamb Cutlets were a real treat, as was most meals everyone had. Some more arrived later Friday night, then all the rest arrived Saturday .
Drives Saturday, some more adventurers than others. Back at camp was agreed to hit the Pub again for dinner, hmmm love those lamb Cutlets.
Sunday saw more drives with some utilizing their winches and snatch straps.
Sunday saw us have a fire, though small, as Monday was to be a total Fire Ban Day. Most left Monday though a few stayed till Tuesday to avoid the holiday traffic. Monday we had a restful day with some washing for the longer holiday makers and a very nice Happy Hour, Us, Glen & Patsy and Craig & Deb from the Bris club.

We had a total of 15 Land Rovers and 2 ring ins as they had no running LR's.

From the comments everyone had a terrific time and can't wait till the next Across the Border Weekend.

As a side note the grounds have had an upgrade with showers added to the toilet block, a laundry, a very comprehensive Camp Kitchen as well as a bar area with fire pit. Oh and a dump point. Comment was made to me the Pizza Oven should make very good scones.

Sorry no pics taken by us this weekend.

    Carolyn,

    Hello from Sherwood.

Thanks for organising the weekend on behalf of the Club - genuinely appreciated.

Sounds like it all went well despite the severe weather conditions.

    Cheers,

    Neil
