I left home at 10AM this morning with tilt on & light rain Neil McLeod passed me just before the turn to Arthur's retirement village about 11AM. By then the sun was out & we had blue sky I parked my 80" beside Arthurs sons new Defender & removed the tilt & bow for some photo's before Arthur came out for some more shots of him with the two LR's. Around 11.45 we left the village with Arthur in the S1 for the short drive to the venue were they were to celebrate his 100th birthday. On arrival Neil & I thanked the family for letting be a part of his celebration & headed home. About 5Min's from home the sky opened up , unfortunately I had not refitted the tilt so got a little wet.
Thanks Wayne and Neil for making this happen.
Cheers,
Mick.

Wayne,
Hello again and thanks for posting this shot of the article and back on the day helping to make the whole exercise happen.
Of all the activities that you could do around the world in one of the few truly global vehicles, helping the fellow who was principally tasked with designing and prototyping it to celebrate his centenary has to be near the apex. It was a pretty special day Genuinely appreciated.
Cheers,
Neil
