I've bought roll pins from my local bearing supply shop.
Hello from Sherwood.
A quick question on brake parts.
I am upgrading the brakes on my 1975" 88" and have opted to go for the dual circuit master cylinder from the later models. I sourced a 'new' TRW unit from one of the LR parts outlets in Victoria which didn't have the reservoir attached to it. This came as a separate part (Britpart unfortunately) which I also took as part of the same order. However, the two roll pins (part AEU1044 ) that attach the reservoir to the master cylinder did not come with either kit - so I need a pair.
The issue - the pins are available from the usual UK suspects but either at a ridiculous unit price or in bulk lots.
The question(s) - would these be available at a local brake specialist, and/or are the pins necessary? The second part of that question is basically whether a substitute nut and bolt alternative would be ok?
I suppose a third question is whether anyone has an unwanted old master cylinder with the roll pins still in situ that they would be willing to part with?
Cheers,
Neil

I wouldn't have thought they'd be a problem... Blackwoods have them (all sizes) listed if your Brake Shop can't help.
