    A timely reminder ...

Last night, I nearly had my 2a taken from my yard

I couldn't sleep for some reason, and happened to see 3 youths through the window around the car. By the time I flung myself out of bed, and got to the window for a closer look, I could hear them trying to open both doors (without success, all locked up). After I shouted a few words (one of which I won't repeat! ) and got to the front door, two disappeared on bicycles (not mine) and one on foot. On inspection, there's no damage, but on reflection it's clear they were after a 'joy-ride' because there is nothing in it to take, and if there was it would be very obvious from the outside. Three seats would have been handy for three people. Plus, being a ute, they could have thrown the pushies in the back

Although I had the low/high range lever in neutral, so they probably wouldn't have got very far

I was lucky no damage was caused, but it is a timely reminder to keep your vehicles locked up, and valuables out of site, or out of the car

In Alice. You yourself know how the 'local' youths around here are, especially during summer

The "locals" would steal the eye out of needle f you let them.

When i was liiving in Alice I had my car broken into 3 times. By the end of time up there i use to leave it open and put all the **** i didnt want to move with me on the front seat or tray of the ute. It went cheap way of disposa.

The "locals" got something they thought was good and got rid of the rubbish. everyone was a winnerl
