Hi All
The bastards stole by White 2015 Discovery 4 TDV6 on Saturday morning 28/12/2019 between 1am and 7am from Albany Creek, Brisbane. Rego 659VNW. Broke in and stole key (and wallet) while we slept
Please keep an eye out or if someone dodgy sells parts - call police 131444.
Had many extras which they may try sell as parts:
- Black Compo Rims with BFG KO2 tires
- 2 x VIAR 450C compressors (were mounted onboard)
- Black OppositeLock Bullbar with WARN 12k Winch
- Custom Built Rocksliders (home made with real heavy angle iron - only one set like them in the world)
- ARB Roof Rack Bars

I feel your pain. I have been the victim, house broken into and car stolen whilst i was at work and the missus was in bed. In Townsville car theft and break ins are rife. Hope all turns out ok.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits. Bastards!
I have nothing useful to add other than more venom. Sorry.
Sorry to hear, bit late in hindsight
but I have concealed $100 GPS trackers in all my vehicles , $15 Aldi simcard keeps them alive for 12 months. Not only might help recover your vehicle but track down the thieving bastards at the same time. Should be mandatory IMO .
Many lessons learned
1) GPS is suddenly top of my list if it’s recovered or even on the new one from insurance. Only problem with this is then I would get to the bastards before the police 🚑
2) sound obvious now but the extras you add over time are more expensive to replace than you think - make sure it’s covered in your policy and then update your insurance as you add new items.
GPS trackers are a good idea in theory, but I belive they are very easily blocked by thieves

Still going to fit a GPS but would prefer something that stopped them stealing it in the first place..
Back in the Day .. 😁
On my first car, many moons ago before fancy immobilisers I ran a “secret” switch in the ignition coil circuit that you had to press first to start car. Latching so that when you turned the car off it reset to open circuit. In modern terms perhaps a switch on the 12v supply to the engine ECM module - but then again if they really want it they’d just bring a tow truck..
For every better mouse trap there comes a better mouse!!
