Motor in my 4wd truck has to come out from underneath.First of I did not allow enough room to slide it out when the old motor was on a trolley.Then I did not have the right height to chain block the new one up.Got about 3/4 of the way up into the engine bay and ran out of chain.

:lol2::lol2:Glad I'm not the only one:D
Only my slip ups always end up down the valley,dizzy drive or an open port:eek:
Classic example a 351 Cleveland.... Change the valley gasket.... dropped a bolt down to the sump but landed on the surge plate. Had to pull manifolds, engine mounts lift the engine to get the sump to clear the pick up.:mad::mad: Did it twice:bangin:
Recently dropped a socket down the rear end of a John Deere Tractor wile I had the top cover off repairing a cylinder on the rock shaft:mad::mad: It was very bad. Long way down there and no change of reaching it:(
