The rear door will be simple to modify.
There is a beutiful DII trayback ute in Victoria. The vehicle was a rollover when almost new and it was cut into a ute using the back wall of several Mazda bravos.

There were people at the Vic 4WD show who were going up to the Land Rover Australia stand wanting to order one.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

The RRC roof above the screen structure is determined by the method of fixing to the body frame.
It has a flange which bolts to the body frame , then the gutter ,which stiffens the structure then the roof panel spot welded above, so it is the same as the rest of the roof.
When the roof is welded like on a Disco , the gutter can be deleted.

Won't the disco being steel and the RR alloy make it difficult .i.e discussion of welding etc? Gary

What on earth would it be called then, a recovery? Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
