    Diff Question for Puma

    I was lucky enough to get my diffs upgraded to 4 pin diffs when they replaced them shortly after I bought my car, so my question is... What would it take to upgrade the rear diff with a lsd and locker and how much would it cost

    Are you sure???
    4 pin is standard in the rear at least.

    Standard is 4 pin rear, 2 pin front.

    You have to throw away the complete centre to fit an LSD or locker anyway.

    Cost varies. There are about 20 options for clutch or geared lsd, and auto or manual lockers.

    and I'm sure you aware that any fittement of anything like this would void warranty of your axle...quite why I dont know as its stronger.

    we asked whether when the rear diff was being bilt for a second time about an LSD and we were given a big fat NO they said back in the old days yes but not anymore..

    but it was worth a try

    lockers are personal preferance. IMO i like selectable,no lsd etc. I would go either Jac Mac lockers and axles or ARB lockers with Hi-tough Engineering axles.

    Sorry for not replying earlier guys.

    When they replaced my diffs they told me that they upgraded them to 4 pin, obviously just meaning the front one. they found a fault with the front one but had already replaced the rear, so got both replaced.

    forgot to tell me the back was already a 4 pin

    might aswell leave it like it as and spend the money on a winch instead
