I understand. What COMPARISON do you prefer, Td5 with 740 rpm or 200Tdi(I have one)?
Everybody knows that a 200tdi is much better than the Td5 running at idle.

I think if we are playing around with the idle speed of a TD5 then perhaps the same climb or course with the only variable as the idle speed would be good. No point brining in other motors.Quote:

My Td5 defender is VNT and just talk about how to improve their performance.
We have seen that lacked air flow and will have increased to 76 mm diameter snorkel. Yet still the problem of low power at idle and have solved by changing the fuel map with a higher idle. Always talking about VNT.
However, the VNT runs perfect in my defender, at all speeds.
