Not in this instance cobber. Twin core through the switch ... 1 up and 1 back. So it goes from the power under the bonnet through the dash switch and back to the relay.

All good now ......... done and enjoying a beer

P.S. But I see what you mean .. use the good wire and find power near by at the fuse box.

Or pick up power at the relay from the main hard active - then to the relay coil - then switch the neg to ground.
