what seats fit a seres I disco?

My 94 disco drivers seat is totally buggered, does anyone know what is the newest / best seats that can be fitted with minimal modifications?

Obviously I would replace both front seats and I guess they dont have to be landrover I would be happy with anything that i couldn't see the floor through the middle of it.

The seat rails are so close together and quite short that I doubt anything would bolt straight in.
I have some XR6 seats to fit into mine but I'm going to make new seat boxes to sit them on.

Someone fitted RRC seats to theirs. There is a thread on here about it. Was straightforward from memory.

I have a 97 and RRC seats bolt straight in.

I have a paratour seat that I made a base for and bolted in. It is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in.

Paratour do a seat base for 91 to 95 series 1 disco.

I have a Paratus seat in my 94 Disco about $1600 from ARB, much more comfortable than the original, has an air powered lumbar support, bolts straight in, no fuss, Regards Frank.

If you want a couple of disco 1 seats, grey, from 1998. Good cond. I am pulling one apart at the present, and do not need to keep the seats.

RRC is Range Rover Classic. It is what the Disco1 is based on.
You would have to use the search function to find the thread. It might even be copied into the Projects section.
I should ad it is only good until 96 as 97 onwards Disco1 got a new seat base design.

up to mid 90's the best part about it is that the RRC front seat are a captains chair - which means they have a fold down arm rest on the inside edge, very nice and comfortable, not sure about how wrap around they are to hold you in place though
