D2 TD5 Running rough first up in morning

My td5 has started running really rough and blowing lots of white smoke (unburnt diesel) when I first start up in the morning. Once I start driving it seems to come ok. Any ideas.
    Cheers

    4) Hows your battery?

    5) How long does the glow plug light stay on in the morning?

    TD5 running rough

Could be glow plug related. The light should be on a bit longer than that, more like 4-5 secs.

    Check your oil for diesel
Check your fuel regulator isnt leaking
    Are you using any coolant?
Have you had any overheating issues recently or in the past?

You could start by checking your glow plugs are getting power on start up.
