    Options are:
    1. Lock with key or fob & immobilise
    2. Lock with key doesn't immobilise, lock with fob & immobilse
    3. Lock with key or fob doesn't immobilise

Mines a 2002 with a flashable ecu (as factoy supplied).. and has the immobiliser fully working.. all done with nanocom.. so maybe the t4 would work with 2002 also?

    Thanks

they all talk through the same BUS, if the T4 can do it then its just a case of me digging out the discs that have the pre my03 varients on it and typing in a VIN to have a look see. (vin is to confirm the initial setup on the T4)

so far as I know all the deefers that have the central locking have the ability to have both the central locking and the imobiiser turned on and off by the T4 system BUT as Ive never hooked it up to a pre NNN Ecu I cant confirm it.

You can turn off central door locking as well in the 10AS.

As far as the ECU/Immobiliser goes the 10AS has to be told what the unit type is that it is outputting for: GEMS, MEMS, SPIDER etc.

...as its was used in a multitude of vehicles

d1 (mentioned) most of the MG / Rover range etc etc etc

Pretty universal... and seemingly reliable for lucas!

    Cheers,
    Paul.
I have now managed to disable the immobiliser while retaining central locking using my nanocom in the Alarms functions. 'stand alone mode'

But the red immobilser warning light now stays illuminated on the dash.

Not the end of the world but certainly a PITA.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Paul.

i have the opposite that when mine is disarmed it flashes continuously! bit of a distraction to start with... but it works and i now dont notice it!

not had chance to find the solution yet... but i'd be guessing its reporting an error and you need to switch that report off?
