Thread: Defender/ County front radius arms

Will '85 County front radius arms fit straight over to a '99 Defender??
Posting this, I see its been asked before but not really answered.

I believe the older arms are narrower by about 5mm which would leave some slop in the axle mount or they would be bent in when bolts where done up.....maybe a purpose made washer each side????

I also think there may be a difference at the pin end..ie DIA...but maybe its just a case of using the approiate bush for that arm???

im sure the gurus will be along.
