    D2a Exh Manifold Removal

Is it possible to remove the manifold without playing with the air con? If so....how?

Or can I just undo the four bolts and shift it slightly, without getting in too to much drama as a result of tension on the belt ?

Drop the belt off the pullies and undo the 4 bolts holding the A/C compresor, no need to remove the hoses from it.
My hint is remove the plastic turbo switch thingy with the 3 vac/pres hoses, I ummm broke mine

Remove the top section of the fan shroud.
Back off the tensioner(bolt in centre of bearing, only till belt lossens).
Belt can be feed around the fan blades with care.
Check your pullies and the bearings while there.

    # I am asuming this is for a TD5#

I found it easier to put the fan belt back on buy leaving the AIR con bolts loose and slightly tilting the Air con. Once belt back on tighten the air con bolts down.
