    Indicator speed

Hey all since i have removed my ARB winch bar and replaced it for a custom tube bar which has no indicators on the bar on my D2 , my indictors all round are flicking quicker as if i have a bulb blown how can i slow them back down to normal flicking speed

    Thanks Kelvin

Put an extra 21 watt bulb (or equivalent load) into the circuit.

Alternatively fit a flasher unit designed for LED indicators.

Check the bulb amperages. Maybe they put lower amp bulbs in your tail light indiucators to compensate for extras in the bar.

Some workshops drop the fronts down to 10w so look there too.

    There's the 'problem'.
There are replacement flasher units available from Jaycar & the likes for LED indicators. I'm not sure if the Disco needs a special one for the trailer warning light part though.

Or you can fit a resistor in the indicator circuit.

tho before i took the ARB bar off i had the 10LED in the custom rear bar with no problems but now that the ARB bar is gone there leaving me 2 indictors not drawing current it flicks quicker

so sounds like some extra led for the new front bar are gonna have to happen

    cheers kelvin

The bull bar lights if fitted with 21W globes should have also turned the trailer lamp on the dash on.
If 10W globes fitted to the bar the light usualy doesn't show.
If it was not flashing prior to removing the bull bar lights the leds aren't compensated.

Had the same problem in a truck when the boss went all led's
    Cheers, Kyle
