PROVENT BULK PURCHASE

Just a few photos of the bracket I made to mount mine. Much like Andys, but it attachs to the fuel cut switch braket on the fire wall as well as the bottom of the inner fender.

As i think he did have quite a few who just took the freebee and provided no feedback, it may be a good idea for all who have just bought one to ask Ben for his sheet and send regular updates. I plan to as Ben has helped out many AULRO members and deserves the respect he has shown to others.

Was going to fit this break but went to Karajini camping instead. Will source some hose and fittings and do next break. Shame to have to go out there swimming and look at all those tourists in Bikinis.:o

I put your invoice in the mail separately. When you send it o/s its generally better not to tell customs it has a value and is a gift.

Thanks again. Customs here only charge if the value is over $NZ400, so no risk but thanks for thinking about it.

Hey Andrew, Provent turned up today. Thankyou very much for everything. Now to install it!!! Might start a new thread, "Show us your provent install".

Installed mine tonight. Mashed up a bracket that is temporary but for a hash job actually turned out OK.

Went for a run to warm it up a bit, came back and took the cap off to see exactly how much mist it develops.... :o :o

A lot into the unit, absolutely nothing from the return! :) :) :)

Next job will be pulling intercooler out which should have been yesterdays job if it wasnt for the starter motor crapping the start solenoid.

Looking good mate. Are you going to plumb the oil drain into somewhere? Turbo oil return line? Centrifuge return pipe? I've got all the other connections covered but I am unsure on this one. Either way a hole would need to be drilled into the line and soldered in place. I'm thinking of just fitting a long clear plastic tube to it with a bung in the end and draining periodicly.

Just a quick question regarding the one way valve,
Does it need to be mounted vertically or can it be put in line at an angle or horizontal?
May have already been answered but I couldn't find it.

I don't think it matters it works on gas flow direction.
