I have had the gearbox, transfer box and both front and rear diffs reconditioned. I also bought new aftermarket prop shafts front and rear and fitted these. The noise is still there.
The latest advice I have says the front propshaft is in phase and should be 18 degrees out of phase. When I speak to Land Rover they say the original front propshaft is 45 degrees out of phase. Someone has mentioned I need to put a series 2 propshaft in with some sort of conversion which will cost $1,000 because the vehicle is lifted.
Please help I have no idea what the real cure is.
My '95 has the EXACT same issue...
I have been meaning to drop the front prop and go for a cruise but haven't got around to it.
