    TD5 Low MAF readings....

    Hi guys...

Having fitted my BAS vnt charger, i have heard most people saying that it should trip maf or at least come close to hitting the max reading of 650.

But I seem to only be able to get around 500ish; the maf was replaced less than a 1000ks ago and is genuine

It is running a K&N filter for on road use; do they damage the maf because of the oil?

    any ideas?

    Cheers ben……

This may be the problem, on our Gulf trip the car was using alot of fuel, we checked it with the Nanocom and found an MAF fault, I cleaned it and it was fine, I also changed the air filter from the uni-filter back to a paper filter and had no problem from then on, coincidence maybe, don't know, maybe I over oiled the uni-filter, but it was the first time I've had this problem with the uni-filter.
