Like all hoses just looking isn't enough.
Give them a light rigle and look for signs of coolant weaping at the joins and next to the hose clamps.

I broke this line not so long ago when working on the toy:(
Ended up using 5/16 auto transmition cooler rubber hose, no briitle pipe now:)


Some more for the list..
A coolant weap from the water pump tell tale hole.
Broken heat shield at the lower mounting point.

It looks like close attention to the main engine harness is needed to be added to this list.

Some have rubbed on the ACE hoses, others on the manifold.
The conduit is getting rubbed through and the wires it's protecting are loosing their protective sheath and earthing out.
This has led to faults from missing to cutting out while driving.
