ARB Lockers are made in Melbourne. Haven't checked the QLD/Vic exchange rate recently.

Lucky8 seem pretty good, but not a huge amount cheaper than what you can get them for over here
I got a detroit locker off them, they were very helpfull and great with postage etc.

Not anymore, now made over sea's (i think Mexico) the build quality seemed to have dropped off since they moved over sea's

Lucky8 or GBR (Great Basin Rovers) are a couple of reputable sellers.

I'm getting mine from GBR as I'm getting a few other things from them as well.

Not neccesarily correct, but I guess it would all depend on what cheap or expensive is to the individual and their own personal circumstances.

I'm looking at mine hopefully being landed in Australia from GBR for at, or just under AU$950, so no GST on top either. ARB at a few Melbourne stores quoted me $1220 or thereabouts.

So, I can get them 25% cheaper from OS, and save approx. $300. That, too me at least, is a massive saving. If buying two lockers, the money saved has just paid for some heavy duty rear axles.

Just spoke to someone at their Keilor store just now who guarantees they're all still made in the Kilsyth factory.

Yes indeed - Daniel Bongard (senior R&D engineer at ARB ) confirmed they are made in AU.

They are slightly cheaper to buy from the US at the moment, but that is just an exchange rate and sale volume issue.
